She walks in like
A ray of sunshine
Spreading warmth and
Leaving trails of joy
And smiles in her wake.
She smiles at me
And she glowed like
The shooting star I
Had made a wish upon
Had come down for me.
Her sound felt like
The soft whistling
Breeze, filling me
With a sense of finally
Coming back home.
I wish I could tell her
How her touch calmed me
Or how her arms around me
Was everything I wanted.
But, alas I couldn’t
For people won’t understand
How I could feel so for you
Seeing as I wasn’t a man.
